Alvarez MDA70 Masterworks Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar

Availability: 1 in stock

The Alvarez MDA70 is made from a hand selected, solid AA Sitka spruce top, and solid, fully-cured East Indian rosewood back and sides. Each component is made of natural material, including real bone saddles and nuts, Acacia Koa binding, Paua Abolone purflings, ebony bridge pins and green abalone inlays. Masterworks guitars feature a one-piece mahogany neck with a 50/50 finish, premium tuners with ebony buttons, and 12th Fret abalone inlay.

The Masterworks bracing system is forward shifted with scalloped, hand finished X braces that allow these guitars to project incredibly well. There's lots of sustain and dynamic response. Either strummed or picked, the separation and balance across the strings is unprecedented in this price range.

Beautifully voiced, professional guitars made from all-solid, seasoned tone woods. All solid wood really does make a difference, and Alvarez made sure each Masterworks gets the best out of their solid wood construction. They are very open sounding, powerful instruments with rounded notes and plenty of bass.

More Info: We are an authorized dealer for brand approved manufacturer refurbished instruments. These guitars are sent directly from the manufacturer to the authorized refurbishing center where they are fully inspected and cleared by a certified technician. The guitars are sent there for many reasons, including: cosmetic flaws, minor repairs & discontinued or last years models. The guitars are given a new serial number and the back of the headstock is lightly stamped "used" or "2nd" by the authorized refurbishing center. All of our guitars come with a new professional setup, but may require a small amount of adjustments or fine tuning upon arrival to fit the players personal taste or to offset any normal changes that may occur from transit or climate.
